Zelienople, PA-based Motion & Control Enterprises completed its tenth acquisition since January 2023 with the addition of Rocky Mount, NC-based pressure and temperature instrumentation product distributor Daughtridge Sales Company.
The acquisition of Daughtridge will expand MCE’s flow control footprint in the mid-Atlantic region with geographic reach throughout the U.S., company officials said in an April 1 news release.
Founded in 1970 by EL Daughtridge, the company sells to resellers and end-users that serve diverse end markets including aerospace, automotive, chemical processing, energy, government and medical.
The company will continue to operate under the Daughtridge Sales Company name under the continued leadership of Lige Daughtridge.
Founded in 1951, MCE is a distributor and service provider covering technical fluid power, automation, flow control, compressed air products, filtration, service and repair solutions. On MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors Lists, MCE ranks No. 50 among industrial distributors and No. 9 for fluid power.
Earlier this year, MCE acquired another North Carolina-based distributor.
