Electrical supplies distributor Sonepar launched its official rebrand of subsidiaries Springfield Electric, Richards Electric, Echo Electric, HOLT Electrical Supply and Professional Electrical Products (Pepco) under Echo Electric.
Once fully combined, Echo Electric will serve over 500,000 square miles across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Nebraska and southern South Dakota. It is Sonepar’s sixth U.S. operation with annual sales exceeding $1 billion.
Springfield, Richards, Echo and Holt are now united under the Echo name, with Pepco is set to join in June.
According to an April 7 news release, customers across the Midwest U.S. will benefit from the Echo’s united facilities and services, such as:
- Echo Group’s Power Center builds power panels in just weeks
- Echo Group’s data center solutions offer inventory management, certified installation, custom printing, wire striping and prefabrication
- The former Springfield Electric Solutions Center specializes in control panels, sub-assemblies, enclosure modifications and controls engineering
- Pepco provides a turnkey solution for power substation projects, including project management, system design, development and supplier consolidation
“With 1,300 associates and $1.2 billion in revenue, we can invest in and expand our capabilities like never before, truly setting a new standard in our markets,” Echo Electric President Chris Scarbrough said in an April 7 news release. “We’re excited for our customers across the Midwest to get access to these truly stand-out services.”
