Fluid power solutions and services distributor Universal Hydraulics announced on Jan. 15 that the company rebranded as Dakota Fluid Power. Universal was acquired by Dakota’s parent company, Singer Industrial, in the fall of 2021.
In addition to its rebranding, the company also relocated its Hasting, NE branch to a new facility in the area.
Dakota Fluid Power said its name change reflects its forward-looking vision while staying true to its core commitment to delivering top-quality hydraulic products and services.
“Our new name and location mark an exciting chapter for our company,” Dakota Fluid Power General Manager Jamie Francis said in the news release. “As Dakota Fluid Power, we’re building on our strong foundation to offer even more robust solutions and services to our customers. Our new facility allows us to better serve our clients with greater efficiency and expanded capabilities.”
