Epicor used its annual Insights conference — held May 17-21 in Nashville — to roll out a pair of major initiatives aimed at accelerating AI adoption and speeding cloud ERP deployments for distributors, manufacturers and retailers.
The company introduced a new “agentic AI stack” built around its Epicor Prism generative AI platform while also launching a new implementation program promising qualifying customers cloud ERP go-lives in as little as 90 days.
The announcements underscore Epicor’s continued focus on embedding AI capabilities directly into core ERP workflows while pushing more customers toward cloud-based environments.
New ‘Agentic AI Stack’ Targets Workflow Automation
Epicor said its new AI stack embeds industry-specific AI agents directly into operational workflows spanning finance, supply chain management, customer service and other ERP-driven functions.
According to the company, the AI agents are designed to automate repetitive tasks, provide contextual recommendations and allow users to interact with ERP systems through natural language prompts.
“Epicor is delivering vertical-specific, agentic AI purpose-built for the industries we serve,” Epicor Chief Product and Technology Officer Vaibhav Vohra said in the announcement. “We are redefining how work gets done by combining industry context, data structure and AI-driven automation.”
Epicor said the capabilities are integrated into its Industry ERP Cloud platform and currently support more than 200 use cases. The company also highlighted Epicor Grow AI — its predictive AI modeling engine — which works alongside Prism to analyze ERP and third-party data for forecasting and operational insights.
The company described the new orchestration capabilities as enabling AI agents to coordinate activities across workflows and applications, positioning ERP systems to evolve from traditional “systems of record” into more proactive “systems of action.”
The announcements build on Epicor’s broader AI push over the past year as ERP providers across the distribution and manufacturing sectors increasingly embed generative AI and workflow automation into core business applications.
Epicor Launches 90-Day Cloud Deployment Program
Separately, Epicor announced a new deployment initiative designed to accelerate cloud ERP implementations for qualifying customers.
The company said the program can deliver go-lives in 90 days for customers adopting Epicor Kinetic, Prophet 21 and BisTrack cloud platforms.
Epicor said the accelerated timeline is supported by standardized implementation methodologies, preconfigured industry workflows and automation tools intended to simplify deployment and reduce project complexity.
“Our customers are looking for faster time-to-value from their ERP investments,” Epicor President Kerrie Jordan said in the announcement. “This program helps organizations modernize more quickly while unlocking the benefits of cloud and AI-enabled capabilities.”
The initiative aligns with Epicor’s broader strategy to migrate customers toward cloud environments as the company continues prioritizing cloud-based development across its ERP portfolio.
For distributors, Prophet 21 remains one of Epicor’s flagship ERP platforms, while BisTrack serves building supply distributors and Kinetic is focused primarily on manufacturing operations.
Insights Conference Highlights Cloud, AI Priorities
Epicor Insights serves as the company’s flagship annual user conference and regularly draws distributors, manufacturers and retailers that rely on Epicor platforms to manage operations, inventory, finance and supply chain workflows.
With a recurring “strengthening our core” message, this year’s event placed particular emphasis on AI-driven automation, cloud migration and embedded analytics as Epicor continues positioning itself around modernized ERP infrastructure and intelligent workflow tools for supply chain-focused industries.
