Building materials distributor Cameron Ashley Building Products opened a distribution center in Fort Pierce, FL.
Based in Greer, SC, Cameron Ashley is a supplier of roofing, insulation, gypsum and siding products. The company manages a network of over 60 distribution centers across the U.S.

The new DC will carry a variety of fiberglass insulation, mineral wool, spray foam, rigid board, sheathing and related accessories to serve customers throughout the Treasure Coast region.
“Fort Pierce and the surrounding Treasure Coast region are experiencing significant economic and population growth, leading to increased demand in the construction sector,” Cameron Ashley Regional VP John Gambone said in a May 27 news release. “With this new location, we can now provide faster, more reliable service from the Space Coast down to Miami—supported by a knowledgeable local team that understands the needs of our customers.”

Cameron Ashley said the Fort Pierce DC is a key part of the company’s growth strategy in Florida, with more locations planned for Jacksonville and Fort Myers.
