Commercial Door and Frame (CDF) Distributors, a door manufacturer and distributor owned by Foreward Companies, is expanding and relocating its headquarters and all manufacturing operations to a new Sumner County, TN facility.
CDF is relocating in the former Simpson Strong-Tie building in Gallatin, TN, where the company plans to create 85 new jobs and invest $26.1 million. Upon completion, CDF will employ 195 Tennesseans. The announcement was made on Nov. 20 by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, Deputy Governor and Department of Economic Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and CDF officials.
“Creating greater opportunity for Tennesseans is one of my administration’s top priorities, and I’m grateful to CDF for their commitment to bring 85 new jobs to Sumner County. With our highly skilled workforce and strong business climate, Tennessee continues to be the best place for companies like CDF to grow and succeed.,” said Gov. Lee in the announcement.
“Our expansion in Gallatin reflects both the strength of this region and the dedication of our team. This new facility positions us to deliver even greater value to our customers nationwide while continuing to invest in the community that has supported us for over a decade,” added Steve Kincanon, President & COO, Foreword Companies.
On October 2023, Simpson Strong-Tie announced it was moving its Gallatin headquarters to a larger facility.
