Jeff Smith will take on the role of CEO at KIG, with Brian Huss succeeding him as CFO of KBP. Joining Smith on KIG’s leadership team are Darius McCurty as CFO, along with Greg Ulvedal and Kirk Dryden, who will continue in their current roles as executive vice presidents within the interiors group. Steve Swinney, co-founder and CEO of KBP, will serve as executive chairman of KIG’s board, ensuring strategic continuity and oversight.
Kodiak said the new company will operate independently, allowing for a more targeted strategy in the appliances and interiors market while fostering long-term growth for both entities.
