Wire and cable master wholesaler Distributor Wire & Cable opened a new warehouse in Canal Winchester, OH.
The 153,000-square-foot facility is expected to support growing demand in the data center, manufacturing, renewable energy and electric vehicle charging sectors.
According to the company, the new site will increase its distribution capacity across the Great Lakes region and nationally. The facility is designed to accommodate a workforce nearly double its current size, and DWC said it has already tripled its employee headcount at the location.

The Columbus-area warehouse will house a broader range of inventory, enable faster fulfillment of large-scale orders and expand available product categories, including tray cable and aluminum. The facility will continue to offer services such as custom cable cutting, striping and dyeing.
“Data center and manufacturing clients cannot wait weeks. They need product on the ground, ready to go,” DWC CEO Travis Williams said in an Aug. 20 news release. “This expansion strengthens our national supply network, accelerates delivery and supports the industries driving the future economy.”
