“Standard, Madison and their specialty brands like Wittock have strong reputations as leading distributors in their markets and prioritize investing in their associates,” Sonepar Americas President Rob Taylor said in a Feb. 14 news release. “Their highly trained technical personnel demonstrate expertise in electrical solutions as well as other segments like industrial automation. Combining under one leadership team will allow them to be an even stronger distributor in their markets.”
The companies will continue to serve electrical contractors, HVAC, plumbing, network, communication, industrial and automation customers in Michigan and northern Indiana, supported by approximately 550 employees and 36 branches, generating $350 million in sales.
