Lubricants distributor FUCHS Group acquired IRMCO Advanced Metalforming Lubricant Technologies.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Evanston, IL-based IRMCO specializes in the production of oil-free lubricants for metal forming and tube bending. Through its advanced lubricant and applied science technologies, the company delivers solutions for metal forming, assembly, cleaning, finishing and environmental performance. Founded in 1914 by William Jeffrey, IRMCO supports a variety of industries, including automotive, appliance, HVAC and construction.

Founded in 1931, FUCHS provides lubrication solutions for a range of industries and applications. The company employs around 6,700 people across 50 countries. In 2025, FUCHS generated approximately $3.96 billion USD in revenue, operating 42 production sites and 71 subsidiaries worldwide.
“At FUCHS, we are focused on improving the reliability, productivity, and profitability of our customer’s operations through product and process optimization,” FUCHS Americas CEO Keith Brewer said in an April 2 news release. “The acquisition of IRMCO will further reinforce our position as leading lubrication solutions provider to the industrial segment.”
