Praxair Buys Airgas Branches in Alberta, Saskatchewan

Airgas will redeploy capital resources from the Alberta and Saskatchewan branches to its core business in British Columbia.

Praxair Canada Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of Danbury, CT-based Praxair, Inc. (NYSE: PX), has acquired five Airgas branch locations in western Canada, including Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton, Alberta, and Regina and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Airgas (NYSE: ARG) is based in Radnor, PA.
