Lancaster, PA-based APR Supply Co. announced Jan. 29 the completion of its acquisition of McArdle & Walsh, Inc. — a supplier of plumbing, heating,and industrial products serving contractors across the Greater Baltimore area since 1922. The deal was originally announced in late November.
McArdle & Walsh operates out of a single location in Lutherville, MD.
It brings APR’s U.S. northeast footprint to span 43 locations across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and now Maryland. In a late January news release, the company stated the acquisition of McArdle & Walsh represents APR Supply Co.’s strategic expansion into Maryland and strengthens its ability to support contractors through increased inventory availability, expanded product offerings and enhanced local service.
“With this acquisition, we are excited to officially add our first Maryland location to the APR family,” said Scott Weaver, CEO of APR Supply. “McArdle & Walsh’s dedication to the trades and strong presence in the Baltimore market align closely with our values and long-term growth strategy.”
APR is a fourth-generation distributor of plumbing, HVAC and hydronic supplies.
