Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) products distributor Veritronics formally launched Aug. 27, positioning itself as an alternative to established providers in the industrial data capture, coding and marking market.
The company, built by AIDC industry veterans, distributes enterprise hardware used across warehouses, manufacturing plants, logistics operations and distribution networks. Its portfolio spans barcode scanners, mobile computers, RFID readers, wearables, thermal transfer overprinters and thermal inkjet coding systems.
Veritronics currently represents three product lines: Newland AIDC, FlexPackPRO and illumex. It is the exclusive North American representative for Newland AIDC’s Industrial product line, which includes barcode scanning, RFID, mobile computing, wearable and fixed-mount data capture products. FlexPackPRO supplies thermal transfer overprinters and ribbons, while illumex offers industrial thermal inkjet printing equipment and inks.
Rather than operating as a broadline distributor with a large catalog, Veritronics describes itself as a “boutique OEM curator and master service provider” focused on a smaller collection of technologies. Its stated value proposition centers on combining competitive hardware pricing with direct technical expertise, responsive support and a white-glove service model.
That model includes depot repair and field service capabilities, dedicated channel account management, partner onboarding and technical certification, along with co-branded marketing and lead-generation support.
The company is also emphasizing a VAR-first go-to-market strategy, selling primarily through value-added resellers. Veritronics said its approach is designed to give those partners greater pricing flexibility, fewer channel conflicts and stronger technical and service support while providing end users with another option beyond incumbent AIDC manufacturers.
“We created Veritronics because we saw a gap in the market,” Director of Channel Sales & Service Tim O’Connor said in the launch announcement, pointing to slow response times and fragmented support as issues the company aims to address.
Veritronics launched alongside a new website featuring its product portfolio, manufacturer partnerships and resources for VARs, independent software vendors and end users.
