Ceratizit USA Agrees to Acquire Best Carbide Cutting Tools

Acquisition to help company "strengthen network in the USA."

Ceratizit USA Inc., a Warren, MI-based wholly owned subsidiary of cutting tools manufacturer Ceratizit Group, has agreed to acquire solid carbide round cutting tool manufacturer Best Carbide Cutting Tools LLC, Rancho Dominguez, CA. Terms were not disclosed.

"Best Carbide Cutting Tools gives Ceratizit an exceptional chance to strengthen our network in the USA and build on nationwide top distributors," said Jacques Lanners, co-chairman of Ceratizit's executive board. Best Carbide is known for the quality of its tools, with a strong focus on high-end micro tools."
