Automotive replacement parts distributor Parts Authority has opened a 450,000-square-foot distribution facility in Olive Branch, MS, expanding the company into a new state and adding capacity to its national network.
The Lake Success, NY-based distributor said Aug. 10 that the facility will serve as a key distribution hub and a base for continued geographic expansion. Located just outside Memphis, the site provides access to major shipping and freight infrastructure within one of the country’s primary logistics corridors.
Parts Authority said the new operation is expected to accelerate delivery times for commercial customers and repair shops while allowing the distributor to broaden its inventory and position more products closer to customers. The facility is operational immediately with an experienced workforce already in place.
“A building of this scale, in this location, is a strategic and important piece for our omnichannel business and long-term capacity,” Parts Authority CEO Clark Hale said. “It gives us the platform to accelerate delivery times today while opening the door to future geographic expansion.”
Founded in 1973, Parts Authority distributes automotive and truck parts through commercial and e-commerce channels. The company has more than 250 locations across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Pacific Northwest and Southwest.
