Plastic sheet distributor and fabricator AmeriLux International and thermoplastic manufacturer Brett Martin have announced the launch of a new distribution and manufacturing company: American Polycarbonate Company (APC).

The joint venture plans to begin manufacturing polycarbonate sheets in AmeriLux’s new 500,000-square-foot facility in De Pere, WI, starting in early 2026.

APC will utilize AmeriLux‘s capabilities in distribution, fabrication and logistics, along with Brett Martin’s 60 years of sheet extrusion experience. The collaboration aims to meet growing demand for durable building materials, shorter lead times and improved supply chain efficiency for U.S. customers.

APC will align U.S. market knowledge with established manufacturing practices to deliver polycarbonate products for sectors including construction, data processing, agriculture, horticulture and architecture.

The company will produce a range of polycarbonate sheets for global markets, with features such as energy-efficiency and impact-resistant glazing. These capabilities are supported by expanded fabrication operations and a focus on sustainable practices. Customers can expect faster delivery, tailored solutions and technical support based on decades of plastics experience.

Initial production in 2026 will include multiwall and corrugated sheets in various gauges and specifications. Future plans include product line expansion and research collaborations to meet changing market requirements.
