Plumbing, HVAC and industrial supplies distributor Ferguson launched its Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru, India.

Ferguson said its GCC in India is a step in its digital strategy, aimed at strengthening customer experience through technology and operations.

Built in partnership with ANSR, a company specializing in establishing global centers, the GCC will support Ferguson’s core business functions while helping improve efficiency and drive innovation across its operations.

The center will focus on critical areas such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, ERP, CRM, data science, analytics and network operations.

With more than 50 employees already in place, Ferguson officials said the center is expected to grow steadily over the next five years, expanding its technical workforce and adding leadership roles to support global development efforts.

“This is not just about scaling technology, it’s about building a future-ready organization,” Ferguson GCC Acting Managing Director Arvind Rathore said in a June 19 news release. “Our Bengaluru GCC is a strategic investment to ensure constant innovation and development capabilities.”
