HVACR, plumbing and industrial PVF distributor Winsupply announced the addition of a new “local company” with the opening of Winsupply N Richmond.

Led by Local Company President Matt Jones, Winsupply N Richmond brings over 100 years of HVAC experience to the residential and commercial markets. The location officially opened for business on June 15.

The team currently includes four full-time employees and one part-time staff member, with plans to hire a fifth full-time employee. Winsupply N Richmond operates out of warehouse space shared with Winsupply of Richmond, a plumbing-focused Local Company.

Winsupply Local Companies are independent, locally owned and operated wholesalers in which Winsupply owns a majority equity stake. In its 2026 fiscal year, Winsupply aims to open 20 new Local Companies nationwide, with total annual sales projected to reach nearly $8.3 billion.

“Now with the new Virginia Beach and Richmond entities, we are looking for entrepreneurs to go north into the Washington, D.C., metro market with HVAC-minded companies,” Winsupply Area Leader Rob McCullough said in a June 19 news release. “My goal is to find capable, hardworking entrepreneurs to establish at least four new Local Companies in this area, and we could include two plumbing companies as well.”

Winsupply’s most recent previous acquisition was of Fort Walton Beach, FL-based United Lighting & Supply, announced on May 21.
