Garfield, NJ-based Fastener Solutions, Inc., a distributor of fasteners, abrasives, cutting tools and other industrial products, has acquired Hatfield, PA-based distributor RJ Fasteners.

RJ Fasteners has more than 40 years of experience serving customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. In an Oct. 22 news release, Fastener Solutions said the addition will strengthen its position in the Northeast and enhance its ability to serve both new and existing customers.

In conjunction with the acquisition, Fastener Solutions’ Hatfield facility will undergo a full modernization of operations, including upgraded technology, streamlined processes and increased inventory, with the goal of faster delivery times, greater product availability and a more efficient ordering experience, the company noted. Over the coming months, an expanded product line will be made available through the Hatfield location.
