Industrial hose and fluid solutions distributor TIPCO Technologies has added Corpus Christi, TX-based MTS Threaded Products in its latest acquisition.

TIPCO announced the deal Sept. 1, describing it as a strategic partnership that combines MTS’ fastener expertise with TIPCO’s hose and gasket capabilities in the Corpus Christi market.

MTS has operated for 42 years and supplies threaded products and fasteners. TIPCO said the combination will give refinery customers a one-stop source for fasteners, hoses and gaskets during planned turnarounds.

TIPCO also expects the integration to enhance inventory and lot-number tracking for fasteners used in critical applications where testing data must be readily available.

MTS will complement TIPCO’s existing Gulf Coast operations, including Hose of South Texas, located nearby in Corpus Christi. TIPCO has recently expanded HOST’s gasket stocking and cutting capabilities for petrochemical, heat exchanger and general industrial applications. The distributor also cited its recently opened Houston counter location and investments in its ISO 9001-certified Houston facility.

The MTS addition expands TIPCO’s footprint to more than 45 locations across 16 states, according to the company.

The deal follows an active 2025 for TIPCO, during which the company announced four acquisitions. It acquired specialty hose assembly manufacturer Flexline in March, followed later that month by Rochester, NY-based sealing products distributor Potter Associates.

TIPCO then added Houston-based hose and hose assembly distributor DW Industries in June. Its final announced acquisition of 2025 came in November, when it acquired Portland, OR-based Gasket Specialties, extending its sealing solutions presence to the West Coast.
