The plumbing, HVACR, PVF, industrial and waterworks products distributor said it completed two acquisitions within its Waterworks customer group during 1Q26 — Technology Sales Associates, Inc. and Chesapeake Environment Group (Chesapeake Environmental Equipment).
- Nashua, NH-based Technology Sales Associates is a 40-year-old water and wastewater manufacturers sales representative agency
- Chesapeake Environmental Equipment is a Laurel, MD-based water and wastewater treatment equipment manufacturers rep agency serving clients in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania and Washington D.C.
Following 1Q26’s close, Ferguson acquired Carrier Great Lakes in its HVAC group, and has signed agreements to acquire HVAC distributors Dealers Supply Company and New England Applied Products. Elsewhere, Ferguson is set to acquire PRD Technologies Group within its Industrial group.
- Livonia, MI-based Carrier Great Lakes is a distributor of Carrier HVACR parts and supplies with seven branches in Michigan and Northern Ohio
- Forest Park, GA-based Dealers Supply Company is an 80-year-old distributor of HVACR equipment, supplies and accessories serving contractors throughout the U.S. Southeast with 15 locations across Georgia and North Carolina
- New England Applied Products is a Waltham, MA-based HVAC manufacturers rep agency serving greater New England with a team of about two dozen employees.
- PRD Technologies Group is comprised of three companies:
- Portersville PRD (New Castle, PA) — a manufacturers representative of industrial valves and instrumentation products with five service centers and multiple sales offices across the eastern U.S.
- PRD Distribution (Akron, OH) — a distributor of Farris PSV valves and parts
- Basin Valve – Blair Martin — a manufacturers representative for industrial valves and instrumentation products with five service centers across California, Arizona and Nevada
Once the pending deals are completed by the end of 2Q26, the additions will net Ferguson two traditional distributors with 22 branch locations and four manufacturers rep agencies with more than a dozen service centers and sales locations.
“Collectively, these acquisitions will expand and enhance our capabilities across water and wastewater treatment, residential, commercial and applied HVAC, and industrial valves and control,” Ferguson CFO Bill Brundage said in the company’s 1Q26 earnings call. “Our overall acquisition pipeline remains healthy.”
Ferguson’s 1Q26 financial results were headlined by overall sales growth of 3.6% year-over-year, with 2.8% organic growth and 0.8% growth from acquisitions. Meanwhile, price inflation was in the mid-single digits, suggesting order volumes remained slightly negative. Meanwhile, gross margin expanded 30 basis points YoY to 31.0%, with adjusted EBITDA margin up 50 bps to 9.5%. The company’s full year financial guidance was unchanged from the previous quarter.
