Beaumont, TX-based Hartmann Building Specialties, a distributor of construction and building materials with five locations across the Gulf Coast, has acquired Contractors Supply & Equipment (CS&E).
In business sand family-owned ince 1969, CS&E is a concrete forming and shoring products distributor. It has locations in Baton Rouge and La Place, LA that stock more than 15,000 combined rental and accessory items. Beaumont, meanwhile, supplies building materials, tools, fabricated rebar and specialty products serving contractors and builders along the Gulf Coast.
The transaction, which expands Hartmann Building Specialties’ footprint in the high-growth Louisiana industrial market, closed on Nov. 1. CSE will operate under the Hartmann Building Specialties banner
Contractors Supply and Equipment was assisted in the transaction by The Distribution Team, a specialized advisory firm based in Bend, OR, with expertise in distribution and wholesale mergers and acquisitions.
