Builders FirstSource Adds New Tech & Digital Leader

Builders FirstSource appointed a former PepsiCo, Microsoft and Amazon executive as its new President of Technology and Digital Solutions to lead digital innovation and oversee the company's Paradigm subsidiary.

Builders FirstSource appointed Gayartri Narayan to the newly created role of President of Technology and Digital Solutions, reporting to CEO Peter Jackson.

In this role, Narayan will oversee the ongoing development and delivery of innovative digital products and the launch of digitally driven business models. She will also lead the company’s Paradigm subsidiary, which offers digital solutions and services for the building products sector.

Narayan brings over 20 years of technology leadership experience to Builders FirstSource. She joins the company from PepsiCo, where she led digital product development across sales, manufacturing and revenue management. Previously, she served as General Manager at Microsoft, overseeing Enterprise Digital Solutions in Communications and Conversational AI. She also held leadership roles at Amazon for over six years, driving profitability, global expansion and market share growth through technology and digital business models.

Former EVP of Digital Solutions Tim Page will continue with the company in a project management role, working closely with Narayan to support a smooth transition.

Builders FirstSource was No. 1 on MDM’s 2024 Top Distributor’s List for Building Materials/Construction.
