Automotion distributor Tavoron, headquartered in Eagan, MN, has acquired Doig Corporation, an automation distributor headquartered in Cedarburg, WI.
In a Feb. 25 news release ,the company stated the acquisition enhances Tavoron’s presence in the Upper Midwest and adds complementary automation distribution capabilities to its growing platform.
This is already the third acquisition of 2026 for Tavaron. The company purchased DP Technologies Group and DP Brown of Saginaw (DP Technologies), as well as Seltol and its subsidiary B.W. Clark, earlier this year.
Tavoron — acquired by private equity firm Fusion Capital Partners in January 2025 — is comprised of a diverse group of 12 companies and employs approximately 500 team members across the United States and Canada.

Founded in 1956, Doig Corp provides technologies spanning motion control, robotics, sensors and vision, safety, electrical control and pneumatic systems. Serving both OEMs and end users, Doig supports day-to-day manufacturing and automation needs across a wide range of industrial applications.
Tavoron said adding Doig expands its automation distribution segment and strengthens its ability to support customers with application-level expertise, strong supplier relationships and expanded access to automation technologies across the region.

Doig Corp. will continue operating from its Cedarburg, WI location and will transition to market under the Tavoron brand.
